This wine is 85% Petit Verdot with additional nuances obtained from 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Shiraz. The grapes were harvested in late March, fermented in tanks and aged in a mixture of new and 1/2 year old French oak barrels, 25% new.
The wine has pronounced aromas of satuma plum, blueberry pie, mocha and vanilla pod.
On taste it is lush, layered with plum compote and maraschino cherry flavours. The tannins are soft and supple, it has balanced acidity with a lingering oak spice finish.
