Alegrini make some excellent wines and the Corte Giara Valpolicella Ripasso is no exception.
The Valpolicella wine is made using quality grapes grown in the Corte Giara vineyards. The Ripasso technique add extra quality and weight to the wine. It is done by adding Amarone grapes to the made wine and it ferments a second time. The result is a rich and lush wine, with more sweetness and complexity – a half way house to Amarone.
