Made entirely from Riesling grapes from Schafer’s Burg Layer Schlossberg vineyard.
The wine is made in the Traditional bottle fermented method but is left on its lees for up to 2 years, which adds the typical yeasty/biscuity aroma and taste to the wine.
It is perfectly dry, (extra trocken) but has delicious crisp and fruity flavours, with a fine mousse and long finish.
Perfect as an aperitive drink!
